Lakeshore:
On Monday March 1st, 2010 around 4:00 pm Lakeshore OPP Essex and Lakeshore Fire Rescue Service attended a fire in the 200 block of Gallos Rd. Police advised that a neighbour observed smoke coming from the barn and contacted the fire department. Upon police arrival, the barn was fully engulfed as Essex and Lakeshore Fire Rescue Service were attempting to put the fire out.
Lakeshore OPP located foot prints located near the fire, and leading away from the fire and called ERT and Canine to conduct a search in the surrounding area. Essex County Criminal Investigation Unit and Lakeshore Fire Inspector are investigating the fire.
