Overnight Occurrences – February 4th

Essex:

On Wednesday February 3rd, 2010 around 8:00 am Essex OPP responded to a fail to remain motor vehicle collision in the 900 block of Dunn Rd in Harrow.  Police advised that a vehicle travelling northbound on Dunn Rd slid off the road and struck a row of cedar trees.  Police seized several pieces of the vehicle for evidence, and the vehicle is described as a 1996-1997 dark blue Ford Aerostar minivan.  There was minor damage to the trees.  Anyone with information is asked to contact Essex OPP at 519-738-3796 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Kingsville:

On Monday February 1st 2010 around 8:00 Kingsville OPP patrolled the kiss & ride program at Ruthven Public School without incident.

Lakeshore:

On Wednesday February 3rd, 2010 around 9:00 am Lakeshore OPP responded to a theft from the 6000 block of County Rd 1 in Lakeshore.  Police advised that sometime overnight unknown suspect (s) stole 3 ATV’s, and 2 computers.  The ATV’s are described as a 2009 Can-Am Black Renegade 800 4X4 valued at $10, 750.00, a 2009 Can-Am Outlander XT 800R 4X4 valued at $10, 278.00, and a 2005 Bombardier DS 650 X 4X2, valued at $9212.00.  The computer laptops are described as a Compaq 1340, and a Toshiba Terra M-2.

Tecumseh:

On Tuesday February 2nd, 2010 around 10:00 Tecumseh OPP responded to a mischief in the 11800 Dove Lane in Tecumseh.  Police advised that sometime overnight unknown suspect(s) threw eggs at a front door of a house.  Anyone with information is asked to contact Tecumseh OPP at 519-735-2424 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
